New Record

It took me several hours of homework, but I took full advantage of the triple coupon special at Harris Teeter this weekend. The young cashier told me that the most he has seen saved through coupons was $50. I just smiled and told him this was going to be a special day for him.
32 coupons later, I saved us over $116, plus I bought on sale items and used my vic (rewards) card to save another $65! I think I did pretty well and I was happy to make a new record for the cashier. Somehow, that made it worth the effort.
