Paw Paw's Visit

For Darrell's birthday present, his dad (Paw Paw) came up for a visit and to go to the Redskins/Saints game with him. It was a great weekend because Libby and Drew really grew attached to him and loved introducing him as "my Paw Paw". As a bonus, it snowed that Saturday and we got about 3 or so inches, I would guess? Libby and Drew had so much fun playing outside and even built a snowman. Since New Orleans rarely gets snow, it was a real treat for Paw Paw, too! We had a lot of fun making our 1st gingerbread house with him and after a tense nail-biter of a game, the Saints did pull off a win. Sunday night, we went to watch the parade in our neighborhood (in FREEZING weather) to see Santa. He was an hour late getting to our stop, but the kids loved it. So, it was a great weekend and Drew actually cried when they dropped Paw Paw off at the airport. :( But hopefully he'll be back soon!
