The Train Show
This weekend there is a huge train show at the Dulles Expo Center near our house, so we thought we'd go check it out. The kids were SO excited and it was nice using this outing as bribery for good behavior Friday and Saturday morning! Anyway, we went after naps at 4:00, which was a wise idea. We parked in the spot right next to the front door and most of the crowds were leaving. Let me just say, without being un PC, that there are some interesting men out there who are VERY serious about their trains! By about 5:00, it was almost empty inside and we only had to wait 10-15 minutes to ride the Thomas train. Libby decided she didn't want to ride once it was our turn, so Drew went alone. And of course she wanted to ride it once her window of opportunity was shut! But, we managed to distract her with a new pink Conductor's hat and tons of trains EVERYWHERE. It was pretty neat to see them all. Afterward, we headed over to Chick-Fil-A across the street and then to Dairy Queen for dessert. It was a really fun family day.

Cute train! We really thought about going on Sun AN, but after naps would have been around 4 also and we decided not to go since it would close soon after we got there. Brandon would have freaked over the trains! Thomas' Day Out is coming to Baltimore the end of April. I think we are going to do that instead of Bday parties this year! (cause that will cost around $100 for all of us!)
