Crawfish Boil at Ft. Hunt Park

Yesterday we drove down to Alexandria near Mt. Vernon to Ft. Hunt Park. The Louisiana colleges alumni groups get together every year for a huge crawfish boil. It was a great turnout this year as they sold out with 1500 tickets! The lines were really long, but they were boiling TONS at a time. There was a great zydeco band and Libby and Drew got to experience their first Second Line! Only problem was that Drew didn't understand you were supposed to hold the napkin up high. Instead, he kept throwing them away. We left there exhausted and a little sunburned, but it was a really fun day!
